A chain collar necklace carrying a padlock-shaped drop at its end. One side of the chain is composed of long oval links with coiled wire sleeves threaded between them; the other is made of rectangular links with softened corners. The body of the padlock is left flat and polished, and its shackle is joined to the chain by a ring. The necklace closes with a round spring-mechanism clasp.
Worn alone at your neck, the padlock drop creates a strong focus at chest height; used together with a longer, finer chain it gives you a layered look. Thanks to its thick weave it is also easily worn over simple tops during the day.
