A collar necklace carrying a round medallion drop, in which two different types of link come together. The upper part of the chain is made of long rectangular paperclip links and the lower part of round, full rolo links; the two are joined by a twisted ring. On the outer border of the medallion the twelve zodiac symbols are worked on a dark enamel ground, while at the centre a rayed sun face sits on a ground of blue enamel. The medallion is without stones and rests entirely on relief metalwork.
Worn alone at your neck, the medallion forms a clear focus at the centre of the chest; layered with finer chains you achieve a look with the air of a collection. It suits everyday wear very well over a simple T-shirt or shirt.
