A yellow gold collar necklace made up of a rolo chain woven from full round links and a five-petalled flower medallion at its end. The surface of the medallion is worked with fine ray lines opening from the centre outwards, its edges finished with a flat, polished frame. The flower is attached to the chain by a small ring and a tubular carrier, leaving it free to move. No stones are used in the piece; the whole effect comes from the texture of the metal.
